Cyril opened a panel in the TARDIS and disappeared underneath it. He wondered awhile before coming across the door he was looking for. He entered through it and found himself in his study on his own spaceship. That trans-dimensional door was awesome. “Computer, travel to Heaven.” The spaceship rumbled a bit and hummed loudly. That was new. Normally it was a quiet and easy transition. Cyril pursed his lips as he realized it was probably the tether between the TARDIS and his own spaceship which he needed to christen soon. Oh well, if having a tether between the TARDIS and his ship was causing this he would just have to deal with it. The shaking stopped and Cyril approached the front door. He stepped out onto Heaven’s firm ground. Cyril was in a familiar place, just outside the planet’s capital. Or… was he?
Cyril spun around and got his bearings. Yes, there was the capital. But… but that forest hadn’t been that close to the capital last time he had been here. Cyril stuck out his tongue experimentally and quickly put it back in his mouth. He could taste the hallucinogens from the forest slowly spreading. “Thaaaat’s not good.” The hallucinogenic forests of Heaven were spreading and bringing the monsters within with them. This was, of course, all perfectly normal. Every few years the forests would spread at rapid rates and consume the territory around them, but what was not normal was that there were no Seraphim woodcutters around anymore. When the hallucinogenic forests spread every few years the Seraph foresters would keep it in check to keep it from devouring local cities or eventually the entire planet. There had actually been well established festivals world-wide in which Seraph foresters would keep track of the areas they had cleared and compare to other foresters. Tree themed food. You know, festival stuff. Now that the Seraphim were not here to keep them under control the forests would soon overcome towns and cities and eventually entire continents. That wouldn’t do at all now, would it? No. It wouldn’t. That was rhetorical you weren’t supposed to answer. Shut up.
Cyril went back into his glowing cloud of a ship once more. “Computer, analyze local forest growth speeds please.” Cyril plopped down in a chair as he waited for the results. There was a bing and a screen appeared in front of Cyril. There was a line graph showing the current growth rate and how fast it would consume a given area. Cyril rubbed his head. He didn’t have time to chop down forests all over the forest, nor did he want to. “Computer, post the following ad in the inter-galactic quest system.

An hour later that job was done and the capital was safe for now.
