An Artifact (or something)

Kelvor caught one of the cracker jack pieces and ate it. "All that's out that way are ruins of the first kingdom."

Ryuzaki tried obnoxious screeching to relieve his chronic boredom.

"does he have to do that?" Kelvor asked the other people in the group.

Elucidia looked at everyone. "Who wants me to neuter him?" Makoto, Rosentan, Sarah, and El all raised their hands.

"now, now there is no need for that. I just remembered however that I have some business to take care of in the palace my self, but if you stay north you should come across some ruins. That might be what your looking for." Kelvor bid the group farewell and floated off in the direction of the palace. "what a strange group of people." Kelvor thought to him self.

Ryuzaki shrieked a goodbye to the lizardman.

Cyril healed Ryuzaki, "Dammit, can ANY of you go FIVE MINUTES without violence? You know if I acted like you lot I'd have run out of people to hurt by now!"

Ryuzaki blinked, "What about Keitaro? Alex Ruler?" He read about them in a book, "Aren't they beings of infinite power?"

"I think those are fictional Rick...." Cyril muttered.

Sarah started walking. After a boy she pointed at the ground. "Dig here."

Cyril nudged Ryuzaki and Emily, "Dig there."

"I could use a shovel or something." Emily muttered, not happy with doing grunt work. "Rick?"

Rick said, "Aha!" producing two collapsable trowels, he handed one to Emily and began digging.

Makoto got bored with waiting and punched the ground, smashing out a good sized crater. "Have a boost." After awhile Sarah noticed something strange. She brushed some diet away and smiled. "Everyone over here! We found it!!!"

Cyril cringed at Makoto's bluntness. He hoped the artifact or something wasn't fragile. Cyril moved over to Sarah.

So did Emily.

So did Rick.

Sarah picked up a pentagon shaped object. The artifact was bright red and had glowing blue markings. On wash side was a slot. It was clearly old, even predating te Seraphim and Solar Saiyans. Sarah looked through her notebook. " we red five people to activate it. Who wants to try?"

Makoto shrugged. "Stick your Hand into an ancient artifact that might kill us? Why not?" Makoto stuck his hand in one of the slots. Rosentan did the same.

Cyril hesitantly stuck his hand into it, not sure he was one of the people meant to activate it.

Emily didn't bother.

Rick shrugged, stuck his hand, and hoped to God he wasn't embarressing himself.

Sarah watched as Elucidia filled the last hole. All of a sudden the artifact activate and absorbed all of the energy of te five. Leaving them defenseless.

Cyril nodded. "Figures. This thing better do some miracles, Sarah."

Suddenly a figure dropped down from the sky. As it landed a cloud of dust shot out. Snarling could be heard. Zeras had arrived.

Rick had a feeling this wasn't a good thing. Even if it was, he hazarded a, "OH, GOD....DAMMIT."

Suddenly the artifact glowed at shot beams at the five who added their ki.
