Cyril's Preparation Empty
PostSubject: Cyril's Preparation    Cyril's Preparation EmptyMon Sep 02, 2013 6:09 pm

When Cyril awoke from doing absolutely nothing in particular he felt as if he had acquired an unprecedented control of his mind and body. Cyril was eager to do something again and test out his new control and power. Artik and Makoto still had not returned so he decided to do a bit of exploring. Exploring of the mind, exploring of the planet he flew above right now, and exploring of his means of transportation. But probably not in that particular order.
Cyril decided to explore this planet with three suns first. More specifically he decided to explore the local strain of dinosaurs. The dinosaurs surprised Cyril more and more the more he thought about it. On most planets dinosaurs were wiped out at the height of their reign, which was odd because of multiple reasons. The most prominent of which is that dinosaurs were on almost every planet Cyril had ever encountered. The other reason was that they were almost always wiped out at the same geological time. How strange is that? Cyril had always suspected that highly advanced mammals from a large and sprawling empire had had a grudge against the giant reptiles and made it their goal in life to kill them all. That was Cyril’s theory anyway. Most other people held on to the belief that the dinosaurs all killed themselves simultaneously, coordinated perfectly with their collective consciousness, because of the black, looming, and inevitable mortality of their species. What a load of bull! Cyril flew high into the sky and looked down at the huge, yet relatively tiny, planet that was known as Namek. He flew for almost an hour before coming across his goal. Cyril descended to the large tyrannosaurus rex’s level. It opened its large, red maul to roar at Cyril, but Cyril reached out to the dinosaur (it was actually Fred from the previous topic as he learned a bit later) telepathically and made a link between them. He was surprised to learn that it was the same dinosaur from before (told you.) “Hello Fred” began Cyril ,”Why are you alive?” Cyril went straight to the point.
“Cyril,” said the dinosaur in an old, slow, and majestic tone, “The dinosaurs were killed out a long time ago. But this is not the original Namek.”
“What do you mean?”
“A long time ago Namek was destroyed. But then Namek was wished back- the dinosaurs came with it.” Cyril took a moment to be amazed by the fact he was conversing with a dinosaur before continuing the conversation.
“One more thing Fred, how did the dinosaurs die?”
“An extremely advanced empire of mammals set out to destroy us all. Once they began obliterating our race with ease our looming and inevitable mortality threw us into despair and we simultaneously killed ourselves. It was perfectly coordinated through our collective consciousness.”
Well at least Cyril was partially (mostly) right. Cyril broke the connection with a formal goodbye and ascended back into the air triumphantly.
“Now to explore the TARDIS!” Cyril was going to go through the TARDIS and take notes about what he wanted in his spaceship for later reference. He arrived at the TARDIS soon and he landed in front of it. Cyril went through the doors and glanced at the dragon balls sitting in a corner by themselves. “Now you stay right there!” He warned them unnecessarily. He withdrew a legal notepad from his top hat along with a pencil. Cyril also took out his sonic screwdriver for a deeper look into the mechanics. Cyril began with the main console in the center of the room. He looked over the various buttons and now and again would probe a bit deeper with the sonic screwdriver. “Materialization Drive, wormhole stabilizer, time-space modulator.” Cyril muttered aloud the parts as he came across them. “All the basic things needed to travel through time and space.” He finished. “Now for the more advanced bits and pieces.” He opened a floor board and looked below it at the more complicated machinery. “Well it’s actually newer than I thought. A TT Type 40, Mark 3. It’s still old, but definitely safe and functional.” A rattle was heard as he poked around, buzzing and a faint blue light was seen and heard as well. “Hmm, the chameleon circuit is broken. Wait… organic machinery!” Cyril’s feet kicked excitedly in the air, this was the only portion of him that could be seen since he was mostly under the floor. “Brilliant! Oh, and an imprimatur! But… if it’s imprinted how are we flying it? Whatever, I guess it doesn’t matter. That’ll come in handy.” Cyril resurfaced and scribbled things down on his notepad. “Excellent, it’s much more complicated than I initially thought.” Cyril approached the door and closed it. He examined the hinges and other things that were not apparent. “This lock is ingenious! The key has to be detailed down to the molecular level and imprinted on some sort of... I don’t even know. Amazing.” He scribbled down a light drawing of the mechanism that was not fully apparent and moved on. Cyril licked the air and smacked his lips. “Psychic circuitry. Great!” Cyril exclaimed as he wrote it down.  Cyril messed around with the computer interface. “Desktop themes! Fantastic!” Cyril left the room “Infinite and ever expanding rooms! I must find the machine that creates these.” Cyril left the library he was in and immediately came into the room he was looking for.  “Absolutely astounding!” He drew what he need and exited the TARDIS. “I have more than enough notes for a spaceship now!” Cyril left the TARDIS and sensed that Artik and Makoto would be here soon. So he stayed in place and waited for their return.
Cyril retreated into his mind. It was now time to prepare himself mentally for the upcoming events. The fight between him and Makoto would be inevitable. Cyril’s wish was clear, he needed a top of the line spaceship to get out out of this universe and into others so that he may retrieve the children of the Seraphim. Makoto’s wish, however, was still unclear to him. Cyril predicted it had something to do with Makoto’s past, as long as he was sane when he made it. If Makoto was in his state of insanity he would undoubtedly wish for power and that would be devastating. Hopefully Artik would stop him if that should happen. But Cyril was confident he would win the upcoming battle, hands down. Cyril wanted this wish bad and had been preparing for years and years on end to achieve his goal. Nothing would stop him. Cyril would tear apart this universe to keep those children safe, and there was something else even more important to him out there…
