"Can you hurry? This isn't exactly easy." Riza said, holding the rift open. Sarah quickly went through, followed by Amatetasu.

Cyril and Emily ducked through.

Riza quickly followed through. Tey ended up in the middle of a grassland. "Sarah?"

"Stay low and follow me."

Cyril and Emily kept low and followed.

"This is ancient Nova Roma, before its inhabitants ruined it. And far before Artik was born, far beyond they even knew they were warriors."

"Wow." Cyril had always been fond of developed planets devoid of intelligent life. They never failed to be spectacular.

"Riza, see that guy over there?" She said pointing to a Solar Saiyan villager. He wore nothing but simple rags. "Think you can disguise us as those?" 

He nodded and cast an illusion over them, making them look like solar saiyans. 

Sarah got up and slowly walked to where she sensed a gathering of power levels.

Emily wasn't very happy with her new look. Someone had better survive all this and set her back to the way she looked before.

Sarah tapped on one of the mobs shoulders. She spoke in a language that Riza and Anaterasu had never heard before. After a brief conversation she turned back to te group. "He says their waiting for....their goddess?"

Cyril had only a rudimentary knowledge of the ancient languages of the Nova Romans, assuming that was what they were speaking; however, he never bothered to learn their mythos. "Anyone know their mythology?" Cyril looked between everyone.

"They are waiting for...Chronolia.....that name....." She froze as a ship appeared overhead. It was seething that Riza had never seen before. It was sleek, smooth, polished, and made out if a red crystal. The solar saiyans all bowed. "Copy them!" Sarah said as she bowed

Cyril and Emily bowed. Cyril peeked up to get a glimpse of the ship. He mentally shrugged.

Suddenly the ship flashed and a figure appeared before them. The figure was masked, it was a strange headdress as well. It was a brilliant golden color, yet it had prismatic effect to it. Light that reflected off of the helm was separated into the color spectrum. It wore simple robes. The have simply wrapped around the body, yet it glowed many colors. Power radiated from the being, even more than came from Amaterasu.

Cyril glanced at Sarah and back at the figure.

Emily briefly hoped their power levels were sufficiently masked.

An young male villager, most likely in his early 20's, walked up and kneeled in front of the figure. He began speaking. "I'll translate." Said Sarah. "My beloved goddess. Please forgive us out subs but the harvest was not good. We do not have your offering prepared. Please accept my humblest apologies." Suddenly te figure backhanded te boy. The voice that rang out was clearly feminine. "You dare stand before me?" Sarah translated. "How dare you disrespect your goddess this way!" The figure raised her hand and the man flew up into the air. "You will pay for your transgression." Suddenly the man began to age as the figure held out her other hand. The aging sped up more and more until he became nothing but bones, and then dust.

Cyril was tempted to make a sarcastic remark, but he figured now probably was not the best time to say... well... anything at all really.

The figure shouted t the rest. "In exchange for your failure, I demand a sacrifice." Sarah said. The figure then pointed at Emily. "Her." The villagers grabbed spears and charges at Emily. Riza stopped them with a silver beam. The second group charged but Riza snapped his fingers and the residual energy shattered, tearing apart the second wave. The villagers roared in anger bout a shout from the figure stopped them. She suddenly appeared in front of riza

Cyril straightened himself up and pushed Emily behind him automatically. Somewhere deep down he knew that was no help. With a realization that there was only a slim chance of making it out of this alive, Cyril decided now was a good time for that remark. "I don't suppose tolerance is among the tenets of this religion?"

Emily punched Cyril.

The figure spoke to Riza. Sarah said something to her and the figure replied. "She wants to talk to you Riza."

"Hey, maybe it is." Cyril muttered to Emily. Pretty unlikely but whatever.

The figure spoke and Sarah translated. "That technique. Only one knows it. Kasmis! After all these years." Riza blinked and dispelled the illusion around him. "I'm sorry but I'm not who you think I am." After hearing the translation from Sarah the figure laughed. "You look exactly as I remember."

"It would be one of Riza's friends who terrorize a local populace under the guise of a god." Cyril observed. Cyril belatedly realized his odds of survival had risen again and he should probably shut up.

Emily punched Cyril, again.

"We have much to discuss." Riza decided against arguing and motioned to those around him. "At least bring them with me." The figure nodded after the translation. Suddenly they were all on te ship

Cyril, true to his mental word, kept quiet.

Emily, also following Cyril's logic, kept quiet.

As soon as the got on the. Ship the figure removed her helmet. Her long purple hair cascaded down to the floor. She looked like Sarah but mature. Almost like Sarah's mother is what Riza thought. Suddenly she kissed Riza. After a moment she broke off and fell to his knees, exaughsted. "W-what did you do?" She responded in perfect English. "Took a teeny part of your soul."
