A Hyperbolic Picnic

Cyril stepped out of his ship and beckoned for Emily and Rick to come on it. "Here we are!"

Rick walked through, along with Stan, Auron, and... Artik?

The latter blinked, "So there I was, finishing up on Vegeta, got a couple of that EverClear stuffsh Nak1to talks toabour so much. And I'm here! Tyne to trame!"

Rick blinked several times.

Stan wished he could drink alcohol.

Auron, the seven-or-so-year-old lit a cigar.

Emily blinked and murmured to Cyril, "Did that 6 year old just light a cigar?"

Cyril looked very uncomfortable, "Yes."

"Is that saiyan orange?"

"Yes. He's supposed to be dead too."

"Really?"

"Oh yes."

Emily looked very uncomfortable too.

Cyril struggled to decipher what Artik just said. "You... You're high right? What... how... okay." Cyril decided to just shrug it off like he normally did. "So, a picnic anyone?"

Artik grinned. "Who'sh de gryl?" His eyes grew large, "WAIT DON'T TELL MAIII." He didn't comment on the death bit.

Rick nodded, "Ah love a picnic, in a garden, yellow flowers, very British!"


Stan frowned disdainfully, "J can just drink water."

Auron puffed his cigar.

Emily made a point to stay next to Cyril. Even though she was beginning to accept that her life now included all sorts of crazy, unnatural people, that didn't mean she was entirely comfortable with it.

"Ah, well." Cyril began, noticing only Ryuzaki, Emily, and himself wanted to picnic. "We could just have an all out battle royale if you don't want to picnic? I could referee to make it fair."

Artik shook his head, "I love a picnincze! In a gaerdern,ots fo flawers, berry Vitish."

Rick made a note to stand next go Cyril as well.

Stan sighed, disdainfully, "I want genitals."

Auron put out his cigar by shovung down Stan's shirt, "I could eat."

Cyril wasn't quite sure what to do with Auron and Stan, so he went ahead and removed the picnic materials from his ship. Emily helped set everything up with him. Cyril put up the chairs and a long table and gestured for them all to take a seat.

Rick and co. stood, waiting patiently. Artik told of his exploits in ruling Vegeta. "...Apparently, a bunch of troops went AWOL to go fight on Heaven or Ellis Island or something. I told the general that nothing was happening in that section, or the newspaper woulda mentioned it more..."

Cyril remained silent, afraid of any repercussions that would arise if he told Artik about that fiasco.

Emily had no such qualms though, "Wasn't there some huge invasion there?"

Artik shrugged, "But thersh the thing. It happened before, too. Someome impershonattesded ne ane took the srmiez to Earf several monthszf ago..." Hjis eyes lit up, "Oooh. It wash meee! Duuuhhh."

"Right. Those were the good times. Relative to today anyway, I guess." Cyril muttered

Auron blinked, "So. Food? Or are we just going to jerks each other off?"

Artik fell asleep.

Emily drummed her fingers on the table, "I suppose if you do that right you'd be eating."

Cyril abruptly went to go fetch the food. He returned with loads of platters filled with all sorts of delicacies. He made a point of placing a jug of ice water in front of Stanial.

Artik snored.
Rick pulled a plate together.
Stan drank water.
Auron... hit on Emily. You know, the seven-or-so-year-old.

Emily totally shut Auron down.
Cyril considered psychologically restarting Auron for his own good. "So, Stanial. I very rarely have the urge to strangle you anymore, what's up with that?"

Stan shrugged, "I don't need to prove anything to my family." He looked in disgust at the floor... ground... thing. "And I decided the best way to stick to Lucy would be to be good."

Rick patted Auron on the back, "Err. Happens to the best of us, mate."

Artik blinked awake, "So, who the hell are you two?" He passed out before that was answered; for plot reasons, he will remember jothing of this. Because of drugs and EverClear.

"Lucy?" Cyril queried.

Emily was wondering about Cyril's sanity as well now. What kind of wacko keeps this sort of company? You know, besides herself now....

"Lucifer," Stan answered. He blinked at Emily, then at Cyril, "So are you two...?" He wriggled his antennae.

Rick began trying to make Auron work again. He decided shaking young children is a good idea.

"RICK DON'T SHAKE SMALL CHILDREN." Cyril gasped in a moment of fatherly panic. Wait this wasn't his kid... whatever.

Emily shifted uncomfortably, "Lucifer, eh?" Then at Stanial's next question she got even more uncomfortable, "Jesus, this little outing wouldn't pass the Bechdel Test would it? No, we are not-" here Emily stuck her fingers on her head like antennae and wiggled them, miming Stanial. At this point Cyril was still shouting at Rick for shaking children.

Rick blinked, "He smokes and ibjectifies women! That's a death wish!"

Stan nodded, "Yeah. Bet you and... [insert Makoto's character(s) here] are..." he wriggled his antennae again.

Auron dreamt of San Francisco.

"Yeah, but he's a kid! We gotta teach him better, not kill him!" Cyril was still ignoring Stanial.

"I'm going to wring your neck!" Emily said in an indignant tone.

Stanial blinked, "What? it's just, every female either disappeared in a time machine or showed taken or shacked up with Makoto's lot. Didn't mean nuffin by it."

Ryuzaki looked over at the British things he was saying, then he turned to Cyril, "Err. Sorry."

Cyril heard Stanial. "That's actually true... huh."

Emily looked between them, "WHAT?!"

Stan, Ryuzaki, Auron and Artik all jumped back when she shouted. The latter two went back to sleep. "'WHAT?!' WHAT?," Ryuzaki shouted back.

"What do you mean they disappeared in a time machine!?" Emily was suddenly seeing everything in a different light. "I just came here in a time machine!"
